Visiting Hours

Eyup Sultan Tomb is open for visits from morning prayer to evening prayer. Generally, it can be visited from 08:00 AM to 7:00 PM (until 5:30 PM in winter months). Brief closures may occur during prayer times. The tomb may be closed on Monday afternoons for cleaning, so it is advisable to check current information before your visit.

Dress Code

During the tomb visit, modest clothing is required. Women must wear a headscarf; those who do not bring one can obtain a headscarf at the tomb entrance. Men are advised not to wear shorts or sleeveless shirts. Shoes are removed at the entrance and placed in bags.

Prayer Etiquette and Conduct Rules

A quiet and peaceful atmosphere prevails inside the tomb. It is important not to speak loudly, to set your phone to silent mode, and not to disturb other visitors when taking photos. Please wait your turn when praying at the sarcophagus and be respectful to other visitors. Tomb attendants can assist with prayers.
