How to Get to Eyup Sultan? Public Transport Guide

M7 Mecidiyekoy-Mahmutbey Line: The line extending from Mecidiyekoy to Eyüpsultan is the fastest transportation option. Get off at the "Eyüp" station and reach the mosque with approximately 5 minutes of walking.

Marmaray + Transfer: You can take the Marmaray to Sirkeci or Halic stations and then transfer to a bus or tram to reach Eyüp.

By Tram

T5 Eminonu-Alibeykoy Tram Line: The tram departing from Eminonu follows the Golden Horn shoreline and goes directly to Eyüp. Simply get off at the "Eyüp" stop. The tram offers a pleasant journey along the Golden Horn scenery.

By Bus

It is possible to reach Eyüp by bus from many points in Istanbul:

You can reach the Eyüp Pier via Golden Horn ferries. The ferry trip across the Golden Horn, especially in spring and summer, offers the opportunity to admire Istanbul's historic silhouette. You can choose departures from Uskudar or Eminonu.

By Private Vehicle

There are ISPARK parking lots around the mosque. However, finding parking can be difficult, especially on weekends and religious holidays. For navigation, simply enter "Eyüp Sultan Mosque". Public transportation should be preferred when possible.

From the Airports

From Istanbul Airport: Take the Havaist buses to Eminonu, then the T5 tram or 36CE bus to Eyüp. Total travel time is approximately 1.5-2 hours.

From Sabiha Gokcen: Take the E10 or E11 bus to Kadikoy, then the Marmaray to Sirkeci, and then a bus or tram to Eyüp. Total travel time is approximately 2-2.5 hours.
