Quran Courses and Educational Opportunities at Eyup Sultan

Quran Courses

Quran courses affiliated with the Presidency of Religious Affairs operate within Eyüp Sultan Mosque. These courses offer education for different age groups during summer and winter terms. Basic Quran reading education is offered for children, and tajweed lessons for youth and adults. The courses are completely free and are conducted in accordance with the Presidency of Religious Affairs curriculum.

Hafiz Program

Hafiz programs are also available at educational institutions around Eyüp Sultan. Memorization of the entire Holy Quran (hifz) is a process that generally takes 2-3 years. Talented and willing students are accepted into this program. Hafiz training is given with a systematic curriculum under the guidance of experienced teachers. A graduation ceremony is held for students who complete their memorization.

Summer Courses

Quran courses organized during summer vacation each year attract great interest among children. In these courses held between June and August, children are taught Quran reading, prayer surahs, basic religious knowledge, and moral education. Courses are generally held in the morning hours, and time is also allocated for children's social activities. Registration begins from May.
