The importance of hospitality in Islam, etiquette of hosting guests, and the Prophet's hospitality.

Hospitality is one of the most beautiful manifestations of Islamic morality. Prophet Muhammad linked hospitality to faith by saying: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let them honor their guest." The story of Prophet Ibrahim hosting the angels is one of the finest examples of hospitality in the Holy Quran.
There are specific etiquettes for hosting guests in Islam. Greeting the guest with a smiling face, offering the best food, and ensuring their comfort are among the primary etiquettes. The Prophet said: "The guest's right is three days; beyond that is charity."
Hospitality holds a special place in the Turkish-Islamic tradition. The concept of "God's guest" expresses that every guest is seen as a blessing from Allah. During the Ottoman period, inns and caravanserais hosted travelers free of charge for three days.
Today, keeping the tradition of hospitality alive is every Muslim's duty. Inviting relatives and friends home, sending food to neighbors, and opening one's door to those in need are beautiful examples of hospitality.
