The importance of Mawlid, the place of love for the Prophet in a Muslim's life, and ways to observe this night.

Mawlid Kandil is a blessed night celebrating the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) into this world. Observed on the twelfth night of the month of Rabi al-Awwal, this night is an opportunity for Muslims to renew their love for the Prophet and to know Him better. The birth of our Prophet was a source of mercy and guidance for humanity. In Surah Al-Anbiya: "We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds."

Love for the Prophet is one of the fundamental elements of faith. The Prophet said: "None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to them than their parents, their children, and all of mankind." This love is not merely a verbal sentiment but an active devotion expressed by shaping our lives according to his Sunnah.

To observe Mawlid Kandil, sending abundant blessings upon the Prophet, reading about his life and Sunnah, reciting the Mawlid, and organizing gatherings are among the beautiful practices. On this night, children should be told about the Prophet's life, and his beautiful character and outstanding qualities should be conveyed.

Reflecting love for the Prophet into daily life is possible through living his Sunnah. Performing prayers regularly, having good character, approaching people with mercy, and being truthful are the finest indicators of love for the Prophet.
