The importance of the three sacred months in Islam, acts of worship for these months, and a guide for spiritual preparation.

The months of Rajab, Sha'ban, and Ramadan are blessed time periods known as the three sacred months in the Islamic calendar. Prophet Muhammad would pray: "O Allah! Bless us in Rajab and Sha'ban, and let us reach Ramadan." These three months are a period of spiritual preparation for Muslims.
Rajab is one of the sacred months in which war is forbidden and the reward for worship is multiplied. The Ragaib and Mi'raj holy nights fall in this month. Fasting, performing voluntary prayers, and seeking repentance in Rajab are highly virtuous.
Sha'ban serves as a bridge between Rajab and Ramadan. The Prophet would fast extensively in Sha'ban. The fifteenth night of Sha'ban is observed as Bara'ah Kandil. In this month, preparations for Ramadan are made.
Ramadan is the most virtuous month, during which the Holy Quran was revealed and fasting was made obligatory. Tarawih prayers, reciting the Quran in completion, gathering at iftar tables, and giving charity are among the finest traditions of Ramadan.
