The concept of sadaqah jariyah whose rewards continue after death, its examples, and ways to practice it today.

Sadaqah jariyah refers to charitable deeds whose rewards continue even after a person has passed away. Prophet Muhammad said: "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: continuous charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them."

The most common examples of sadaqah jariyah include building a mosque, establishing a water fountain, constructing a school, planting trees, and building bridges. The Ottoman waqf civilization is one of the most magnificent examples of sadaqah jariyah.

Teaching beneficial knowledge is also one of the most valuable forms of sadaqah jariyah. The knowledge a teacher imparts to students is passed from generation to generation. Raising righteous children is perhaps the most lasting form.

Today, there are many ways to practice sadaqah jariyah. Digging a water well, providing scholarships, contributing to hospital or school construction, and sharing beneficial knowledge online are among them.
