The concept of tawakkul in Islam, the importance of trusting Allah, and reflections of trust in daily life.

Tawakkul means entrusting the outcome to Allah after doing one's best and trusting in His decree. Almighty Allah states in Surah At-Talaq: "Whoever puts their trust in Allah, He will be sufficient for them." Tawakkul is not laziness or expecting results without effort. On the contrary, it means relying on Allah in the heart after exerting all possible effort. The Prophet told a man who had not tied his camel: "Tie your camel first, then put your trust in Allah."
The foundation of tawakkul is believing that Allah knows everything, has power over everything, and decrees what is best for His servants. Sometimes what we wish for may not come to pass, but trusting that Allah knows what is best for us is the essence of tawakkul. In Surah Al-Baqarah: "Perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you like a thing and it is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know."
A person who practices tawakkul stays free from stress and anxiety because they have entrusted the outcome to Allah. This gives inner peace and strength to cope with difficulties. Being patient during trials, not losing hope during illness, and trusting in Allah's provision during financial hardship are beautiful examples of tawakkul.
To bring tawakkul into daily life, it is important to begin every task with bismillah, remember Allah in every situation, and accept divine decree. Performing the istikhara prayer and seeking Allah's guidance in important decisions are practical reflections of tawakkul. A Muslim should be a balanced person who both works hard and trusts in Allah.
