Islam Is Built Upon Five Pillars
بُنِيَ الإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَالْحَجِّ وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ
Pronunciation
Büniye'l-İslâmu alâ hamsin: şehâdeti en lâ ilâhe illallâh ve enne Muhammeden rasûlullâh, ve ikâmi's-salât, ve îtâi'z-zekât, ve'l-hacc, ve savmi Ramadân.
Translation
Islam is built upon five pillars: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, performing the prayer, giving zakat, performing Hajj, and fasting in Ramadan.
