Fasting Is a Shield

الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ فَلاَ يَرْفُثْ وَلاَ يَجْهَلْ

Pronunciation

Es-sıyâmu cünnetün felâ yerfüs ve lâ yechel.

Translation

Fasting is a shield. Let the fasting person not speak evil words or act ignorantly.
