Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today we reflect on the Muslim's moral stance – the firm principles that guide a believer through life's challenges. Allah says: "So stand firm as you have been commanded." (Hud, 11:112)
A Muslim has principles that do not bend with the wind of popular opinion or crumble under pressure. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong you will do wrong. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good, and not to do wrong if they do evil." (Tirmidhi)
Standing Firm with Dignity
Our stance is built on faith, justice, and moral courage. We speak truth even when it is unpopular, we stand against injustice even when it is costly, and we maintain our values even when tempted to compromise.
The companions of the Prophet stood firm despite persecution, poverty, and exile. Their steadfastness changed the world. Let us follow their example and be people of principle in every situation. May Allah keep us firm on the straight path. Amin.
