Dawn Prayer (Fajr)
The Fajr (Dawn) prayer consists of 4 rak'ahs: 2 rak'ahs sunnah + 2 rak'ahs fard. The time for Fajr prayer is between the true dawn (fajr al-sadiq) and sunrise.
FAJR PRAYER SUNNAH (2 Rak'ahs):
1st Rak'ah:
1. Make the intention: "I intend to pray the sunnah of Fajr prayer for the sake of Allah."
2. Say "Allahu Akbar" and raise the hands (opening takbir).
3. Recite Subhanaka.
4. Recite A'udhu-Bismillah, then Surah al-Fatiha, then another surah.
5. Bow (ruku'): Say "Subhana Rabbiyal-Azim" (three times).
6. Rise: Say "Sami'allahu liman hamidah" - "Rabbana lakal-hamd."
7. Perform two prostrations (sujud): Say "Subhana Rabbiyal-A'la" (three times).
8. Stand up.
2nd Rak'ah:
1. Recite Bismillah, Surah al-Fatiha, and another surah.
2. Perform ruku' and sujud.
3. In the final sitting, recite At-Tahiyyatu, Allahumma salli, Allahumma barik, and Rabbana atina.
4. Give salam.
FAJR PRAYER FARD (2 Rak'ahs):
Performed the same way as the sunnah, but the intention is made for the fard.
After Fajr prayer, perform tasbih: 33 Subhanallah, 33 Alhamdulillah, 33 Allahu Akbar.
